I need to find a gear shop to get my 4.10s installed, somewhere realible butt not super expensive. Ive already talk to ECGS and they want more $$$ then I to spend. I wouldnt mind doing it myself i just aint got the knowhow or confidence. So if yall know of anywhere that can install them please let me no. thanks!

What was the quote for both axles? You already have your gears and master install kit?

All in all that's not a bad quote for what you have. Figure about $150 a peice for the master install kit. Gear oil, rtv, perhaps some set-up bearings to boot and friction modifiers depending on what traction devices you have if any, more $.

Figure 5-6 hours per axle to get set-up correctly.

Tools for this kinda work ain't cheap and i bought the budget versions.

I have a harbor freight shop press and that was $200

The inch pound torque wrench I have was nearly $100.

Pinion dial indicater was around $100

yeah i realize that this is a fair price but i just aint got that kinda money to spend and my rearend is going out so i was hoping to get it done soon
