buggy won't start for some reason. Started last week. Today, no go...

It turns over and fires just a little. Maybe like 1 cycle then dies. try to start again and it does the same thing. It may get to 400rpm for like 1/2 second and dies.

So, anyone have any ideas?

Anyone have a scan tool to check for sensor issues?

The check engine light isn't on but it doesn't come on during start up so I'm beginning to wonder if it works...

Ford Carburatered engines don't do that

Some simple things to check............

Even if its a sensor it should still run in a closed loop configuration

Double check fuel pump pressure

Double check grounds

Make sure alternater is putting out 13 or so volts

No Hablos Jeep

If it doesn't make sense, do it

If the CPS or TPS is fowled, wouldn't that keep it from starting?

Its like it fires up then quites sending fire. Fuel should be just fine, it hasn't moved an inch from where it was last week. I can hear the pumps running
