Broke the rear output shaft on the Dana 20 T-case last trip to UNF. I got bound up on Daniel and *SNAP*. With some help from WG and Jamie drove off the trail in front wheel drive. I don't know what it is about Daniel but it has gotten me pretty good over the years. Seems to be the place where I find carnage

Here's a not so clear shot of the shaft and housing on the work bench

Housing and shaft from a 20 that WG donated to the cause

There are 13 needle bearing in the rear assembly of the output shaft. These little buggers like to fall out and of couse did when I slid the old shaft out. I had to fish them out of the t-case. A little grease and the use of the input shaft help set things in place.

Housing with shaft, new seal and yoke installed ready to bolt back in. All went well and I've put a hundred miles or so and everything seems to work fine. There is and aftermarket hardened shaft available but it's $400. Might have to pony up the bucks for that soon or stay off the skinny pedal as much

for $400 I'd think there are other options available that replace the D20?
