As a couple of you all may know, I've been working on a racing series for the 2010 season. To start off the series, we'll be working on a fall event. This will be our test-bed for the upcoming season. Rules, classes, organization, etc. will all be tested and updated based on comments from this event.

Below is the information Sam has posted on NC4x4. You may also check us out at www.ECORS.com We are working on updating the rules, classes, and registration online, so check back often.

ECORS – East Coast Off-road Racing Series is proud to announce our first event will be held at Callalantee ATV & Campground in Mountain City, TN on October 10, 2009.

The course will include parts of the infamous Welder trail and Little Tellico!

Each racer will be timed and the three fastest times in each class will be our Champs! Our winners will receive cash, prizes and trophies of at least 100% of entry fees!!!

There will also be a Rock Crawling competition on Saturday evening on the notorious PULL CABLE trail! Cash, prizes and trophies will also be given to the WINNER!!

ECORS is a traveling race series and during 2010, we will be hosting 4 to 6 races at various OHV destinations in the South East. POINTS awarded from each event, including the 2009 Fall Brawl, will count towards naming our ECORS Grand Champions in each class!!

Pre-Registration sale!! Early bird admission tickets sold by August 31, will only be $15 per person!! Tickets sold during September will be $20 each and at the gate $25 each.

Racer Registration and class requirements and rules are available online at www.ECORS.com

Callalantee ATV & Campground has a daily Riding Rate per vehicle of $11 and Non-Hookup camping spots are available at $11 per night for 2 people, $3 per additional person over 10 years of age.

(Hookup sites are available in very VERY limited quantity, email us directly for more details.)

Event tickets, riding fees and camping registration is now on sale now at www.ECORS.com or send your money order to:

ECORS
3201 Brassfield Rd, Suite 300
Greensboro, NC 27410

If you are interested in becoming an official sponsor / vendor for the 2009 ECORS Fall Brawl, please contact us at Sales©ECORS.com

Rules have been posted.

Final class requirements have been posted.

Series Point Table has been posted that shows points won for each event that go towards the Series Championship

Also, we want to encourage club participation.
So, with 5 race entries from a club, ECORS will be donating $10 per entry back to the club. In addition to this, we'll put the club logo and hyperlink on the website and publicize/announce it at the event. You can give us decals and flyers to put in the "goodie" bags for all volunteers and racers. You can also put your banner up at the start/finish line with all the other sponsors.
The recognition the club gets is also available if 10 or more club members attend the event!

So, get the guys together for a fun weekend at Callalantee!

Maybe I'll have the buggy finished by then! I'm trying...

OK everyone, there is a vehicle giveaway that will take place at this event!

Its a 1992 XJ with 33" tires, lockers, etc. and is equipped to run in B Class. Tickets are $10 each. Along with winning the vehicle, the winner will also win race entry fees for all 5 races of the year plus ECORS membership.

So, for $10 you get a chance to win a $1500 Jeep, entry fee for 5 races ($750 value), and ECORS membership for the season ($100).

Not bad for $10. Plus, you are eligible to all the prizes, same as any other paid entrant.

Guys, we mapped the course out on Saturday. It is exactly 4.10 miles and should be pretty good.

There is a great area for a pit, pretty good spectator access, and some good areas on the course for some good technical areas as well as some areas where you can open it up some. We had the UTV up to some good speed

come on out and race or watch. If you want, there is a rock crawl on Pull Cable that evening too

Anyone coming? Anyone interested?

There are not many entered in Class C yet, so you've got a good chance to be one of the top 3
