Bought some ceramic coated headers to replace the old steelies. Kinda spendy but I'm hoping it well help reduce the under hood temps.
Thr new ones have a gasket-less design which elimantes the annoying blow-outs

Here's a shot of the passenger side bank, This is the side that likes to blow out a collector gasket every few months. Notice the missing bolt???

New headers installed. I was wanting some of the stage 8 locking header bolts but couldn't find a source locally. The kit came with longer bolts so hopefully they'll stay tight

the stage 8 locking header bolts work great i used them on m old chevy, after i had gotten good enough i could change a header gasket on the side of the road in less then ten minutes. the money is well spend on the stage 8

the stage 8 i bought from either jegs or summit. id like to see how the flanges you have work i was hoping my headers were going to come with the ball and socket flange but they didnt guess ill have to order the aluminum flange gasket for mine that was the only thing i could get to stay sealed on my chevy.
