Whatever happened to the wake forest poweline trails.

I used to run up there and i cant remember where it is or even if it still open. If not where are some legal areas around here.

Closest legal place unfortunatly is Uwharrie National Forest.Unless you get permission from the land owners,might want to stay off powerline trails.The power comp. has big black helo's flying around to take pictures while you look up at them.Or rather so I was told anyhow

there is always the beach. I like the Coralla area they are some dunes but yeah Uwharrie is fun but i liked the power line trails. have any of yall ran the ones up there it was nice to make a day trip and have a little fun

i think the point was powerline trails are illegal unless you have written consent from the land owners and i think you may or may not have to have written permission from the power company as well. (not sure on the last part). and on the dunes near coralla i wouldnt be seen up near the dunes theres big time fines associated with running in the dunes and subsequently the closing of alot of beach axcess to ohv. sorry to be the downer but unless its private land and you have permission. uhwarrie is the closest spot.
