Having a hell of a time installing a new set of hubs(warn Premiun #20990). Searched the Bronco tech forum and found that the spring is to be left out, which is good as I could not get the assembly to compress enough to drop in the retaining ring that holds it in.

Reassembled everything tonight and cannot get the hubs to engage the axle. Turned the hubs locks every combination and still nothing.

Ideas????

its got F-O-R-D written on the side of it, what do you expect?

i'm not much help without being there, as the ones i've installed in the past went smoothly...

it's a '51...it's just been modified some

Actually the hubs that say F-O-R-D on the side work. Albet after 35 years of use, turning them with a pair of pliers seems to be the norm.

For whatever reason(s) the warns will not engage thus turning the tires(Only have front wheel drive right now)

Maybee the hammer needs to be use on the warns??
