Who is up for a Memorial weekend trip somewhere, URE, Callalantee, HArlen, Crozet, Tellico, Gulches...anywhere.

We are up for about anything.
Yes, I know fuel prices suck but I didn't dump all that money into my rig to just watch it rust in the backyard.
Lets get something planned for this long weekend

Please post if you are serious about your vote to go, thanks.

I don't really care what place we go, so long as we go. If gas prices are an issue UNF is the place to go. Mtn City isn't too much furthur.

Well, it looks like URE is in the lead. Lets start planning the trip. It's going to be a busy weekend down there, I know camping is going to be at a premium. I talked to Janet last weekend about camping and she said not many sites were left. So we need to get his thing moving if we are going to URE.

Well I just looked at Reserve America and both 27 and 29 are already reserved. The only sites left w/ electricity are 14,30 and 32. Non electric sites are 1,2,4,5,8,9,10 and 11. Of these there are some deep sites we can probably get my coach and some tents into. If we go to a site w/out electricity, I'm willing to run my generator for those who need power. I'm thinking if we can get a couple sites together we could still do ok for space. I suggest if we want to get two sites we get sites 8 and 10. They are side by side and 40' deep.

I've found in the past that the reserve america site is not very accurate for listing what is actually available. Seems to work better to call it in.

If you could, go ahead an make the reservation. I'm still trying to get cought up from the lightening storm from this past weekend.

Since 30 and 32 are still availble and right next to each other that should work if the large ones are booked. Something with electricity fer sure!!!!!!

Booked sites 30-32. I'll need site 30 to fit the coach in so if anybody beats me down please set up in 32.

If we ate "group" style one night, and went out the next that would be good.

What day/time is everyone going?

I am going also with my family, we can't leave until Friday ~5:30. We would like the group meal thing. Saturday breakfast would be good.

Sorry I've been absent from the thread, Xenia lost her Aunt suddenly Thursday and we have been out of town since then. Whatever works for meals is fine by us, we could leave a crock pot(s) of something going in the camper while we are on the trails. I'm not sure what I'm doing for a rig this weekend since I haven't had a chance to work on either one. I will be trying to pull it together this week somehow. We won't be leaving Raleigh until sometime after five.
