Anyone know of a source for rebuild parts for the baseplate assemblies? Mine that came wiht my IMPCO 425 is seized up. I'm sure it needs to be taken apart. If I have it apart, I might as well put new parts in it...

thats not it.

I need a rebuild kit for this: http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplayPopup?storeId=10001&partNumber=510-112-17&langId=-1&showValue=1

It seems that all I can find are new assemblies and not any rebuild kits...

I need new shafts and plates as well as the springs, etc. etc.

Well, I'm guessing it was a holley baseplate, it could be anything, really...

The Impco 425 is already attached to it and was being used with it. But, it looks like its been sitting for years and is now siezed up.

So, I guess I really don't know what I have, Holley baseplate or q-jet...

I'm not really a carb/engine guy, so I have no idea about this stuff. Learning as I go...

a good soaking in a small bucket of pb blaster for a couple of days and then some tlc with a hammer might do it.

if the soaking doesn't work... go to a junkyard (WG's/young's) and pull a Quadrajet from a 70's chevy pick-up.
