Is there any kind of yearly schedule for trail rides? If not, I propose any major trips someone wants to take, post it up here so we can hopefully get them on a schedule. I think it would be advantageous for scheduling time off from work or around family events and have time to save $$$ for long trips. This would give everyone some time to hopefully work things out to make as many trips as possible.

I would like to go back to Rausch Creek maybe in March/April.
(maybe my Jeep will make it longer than 4 hours on the trails this time)

...and then...? Maybe a schedule is too strict a term. I am thinking if everyone throws out what they want to do this year, hopefully, some of it will gel together for some great trips.

2006 there was a schedule.....not many trips with alot of participation. I suspect the cost of gas was then as it is now a factor in folks going places.

2007 there really wasn't a schedule so to speak, but many more trips with UNF being frequented often. I beleive the cost of gas is the big reason so many trips were to UNF.

Not sure which method motivates the best?? I expect to see 4 dollar a gallon gasoline this summer so I'm sure that will effect alot of things.

Peronally I'd like to get out to Harlan, Callintee and Tellico for 2008, with a couple unf trips in the mix

No Hablos Jeep

If it doesn't make sense, do it

Harlan----------------------------- AWESOME PLACE! By far my favorite on the east coast of places I have visited
Crozet---------------------------- Liked it, but chris has too many restrictions.
Callalantee---------------------- Little better than Uhwarrie, but still not too fired up about it. Pull cable is the hardest trail I have ever been on and it's nasty!
Morris Mountain---------------- Never been or heard of it
Tellico----------------------------- Fun place, it's spread out, but would love to go back.
WG's------------------------------ I should have went last time WG invited me, but was busy. Ya'll plan another and I will be there.
Devils Payground------------ Fun place! Sick nasty multiple lines! Too bad you have to get an invite or wait for open rides.
Uwharrie------------------------ Sucks for a very capable rig. Nice place to take family. Never care to go again.
Greyrock----------------------- I wanna do this!
Windrock----------------------- I wanna do this!
Robbinsville------------------ Isn't this private land that takes longer to get there than there is stuff to play on?
Rausch Creek---------------- Wanna hit this too.

OK,
For everyone interested in Rausch Creek, I would like to plan and go up there March 21-24. I know this is three months out, I just wanted to know if anyone is up for it? For those who need it, here's the link. Check it out.
